Our Founder
Hannah Cassilly—Writer. Editor. Occupational Therapist.
About
Life is too interesting to do just one thing—Hannah began her professional life as a writer and editor. A strong calling to help others led her to Occupational Therapy.
As an Occupational Therapist, Hannah has worked in many settings including Outpatient Orthopedics, Inpatient Rehabilitation, and Home Health. She currently works in Pediatric Telehealth. Her areas of interest include upper extremity orthopedic conditions and geriatric health.
Previously, Hannah was a Senior Acquisitions Editor for The History Press and Arcadia Publishing. She produced and wrote copy for a wide range of books from those on the Civil War in the Mid-Atlantic and the histories of bygone department stores to books on the history of the Chesapeake Oyster and Baltimore Beer.
In a third act, she is combining both fields as the founder of Writing Wellness, LLC. She aims to help healthcare and wellness providers with all their writing needs.
Hannah originally hails from Maryland though she now calls the Lowcountry of South Carolina home. She enjoys walks and all things toddler-friendly with her husband and two energetic, young children.
